Mates/dudes (its all the same); what a great interview, very well researched and structured with your questions and insights.

Dave’s working on a hot rod-surfing-with jetson space craft draws me back to Carltons “Hot rods and racing cars’ comic series that spanned the 50′s to early 70′s. They did have a safety message but the imagery is great.

So, how much does Dave charge for commission pieces?

Foo,
I don’t know you, so I hesitate to suggest that you are an anal retentive windbag with no joy in your soul, but you are. Neither the original Casino Royale or Never Say Never Again are considered canon, with good reason. The first is a very bad comedy spoof. The second is a very bad comedy spoof, or to be more exact, it is an inferior remake of Thunderball that emerged from a copyright lawsuit that Connery walked through for the cash. If this is your favourite Bond, then I suggest your get out more, or perhaps just stay in, because you’re probably the sort of person who would spend too much money on a hi tech tv set that will be redundant in a year. Now, having said all of that, I might change my mind. You never know.

WIthout fear of ridicule I declare that my favourite Bond movie is Never Say Never Again. At the ripe age of 51 Connery proved still that nobody does it better (and with a very young looking Kim Basinger no less). My hope is that both Never Say Never and Casino Royale can be included in this ambitious retrospective. NIce work Fabio.

A superb introduction to what will be a most interesting feature for Alpha Nerd. Will it reset my Bond settings that have been honed for 40 years and make me realise what a fool I was or will it fuel my journey into rewatching all of those movies again to defend my honour and proclaim Bond the true son of the empire!! Richard is really great guy, I met up with him at Comic Con and he was very gracious to allow us this interview. Its a fascinating journey isn’t it? I wanted to see some of the 50s sci fi movies after that interview!! Its a good insight into behind the scenes of 70-80s TV. Cheers and thanks for the comment.
